Originally from Morelia, Michoacán, he arrives in Cancun at the age of 17 and after finishing his studies specializes in baking. He works in Cancun both in hotels and restaurants.

He spent a short period under the tutelage of Jesús Escalera and Rafael Zafra.
Nowadays, after several projects of his own and being a chef of several hotels, at the age of 26 he owns Mostaza, Huerto Cocina, RocaLáctea, Cruzitos Burritos and Catering Advisor and restaurants in Riviera Maya.
