Sandra Fernandez is a successful sommelier, Bachelor of Hotel Management and with an interesting degree in Gastronomy at Le Cordon Bleu School, at its headquarters in Florence, Italy.
Her taste for wines motivated her to make major courses on Oenology and Sensorial Analysis of Viticulture at Davis University, where she received the proper training to become judge and professional wine taster.
Her studies and trainings resulted in major titles such as Certified Wine Professional, at the Culinary Institute of America and Certified Specialist in Wine and Certified Wine Educator, both titles from the Society of Wine Educators of the United States, important achievement as being the only Mexican with these certifications.
In addition, Sandra was positioned as one of the 25 most influential people in the world, according to the magazine “Líderes Mexicanos” in 2011 and the Mexican Association of Sommeliers has listed her as the most important representative of wine culture in Mexico. Thanks to her dedication and constant renewal, is that Sandra was invited by Felipe Calderon (Ex- President of the Mexican Republic 2006-2012) during his possession to attend the inauguration events for the Bicentennial celebration, where she received the honor of serve to the Presidential table.
