Enthusiastic and with a superstar soul, Chef Federico Lopez decided to change his residence to Cancun where he runs his business since 2004.
Successfully,Chef Federico Lopez has been enshrined in Cancun as one of the most popular chefs, thanks to his expertise and his ability to run two prosperous businesses: Taller Gourmet and Event Solutions. Federico began his culinary career in 1988 as a practitioner of Hotel Nikko Mexico. In 1992 he graduated with Arlyn Salomon Award from the Culinary Institute of America in New York.
Joyful for gastronomy, he begins as banquet chef and professor founder of the University Claustro de Sor Juana. In 1996 Grupo Ambrosia del Bosque invites him to create the Culinary Center of Mexico, becoming the operating chef of the group. His vast experience and determination led him to coordinate gastronomic tastings, workshops and festivals.
Winner of the San Pascual Award for the Asociación del Mandil y Cordón in 2013, founder of the national Gourmet Festival of Sanborns and also, winner of the Iron Chef Competition in 2007 during the Hot & Spicy Food Festival in Toronto, Canada. Federico was specially invited for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival in order to represent the government of Quintana Roo.
